Could it be you? The V&A is looking to hire a Taylor Swift fan as adviser ahead of UK ‘Eras Tour’
The fan's remit will be advising on the cultural impact of the star as well as the homemade fashion and crafts popular in her fanbase.
The V&A Museum are looking to recruit a Taylor Swift super fan as an adviser ahead of the singer’s UK tour this summer.
According to the BBC, the London museum is seeking a British-based fan of the pop star to share advice on her cultural impact across the world as well as the popular trend of homemade fashion and crafts within her fanbase.
Applications for the role are live here now and the successful applicant will be in place before Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ hits the UK in June.
Museum director Dr Tristram Hunt told the BBC: “These new advisory roles will help us celebrate and discover more about the enormous, and often surprising, creative diversity on offer at the V&A.
“As well as helping us to learn more about the design stories that are relevant to our audiences today.”
Ahead of the ‘Eras Tour’ hitting the UK, Swift will release new album Tortured Poets Department in April.
The album, out April 19, will feature collaborations with Post Malone and Florence + The Machine, and was announced at the 2024 Grammys last month.
“I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way,” Swift said when accepting the Album of the Year award for Midnights. “But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19. It’s called The Torture Poets Department. I’m gonna go and post the cover. Right now, backstage. Thank you.”
