Yungblud has revealed to Rolling Stone UK that he is planning his own festival.

“You’ve got the scoop!” he revealed on the red carpet at tonight’s Rolling Stone UK Awards in collaboration with Rémy Martin at London’s Roundhouse.

Asked what the festival will be like, Dominic Harrison joked: “I’ve just stupidly said it on a [red] carpet when I shouldn’t have, but whatever! It’s gonna be mine. It’s gonna be all about friendship. We dreamt of building a world, me and my fanbase, and we did. I want to showcase that to the world and make it be a place of unity and… it’s gonna be lit. We’re working really hard on it.”

Of a potential line-up for the event, he said: “I can’t tell you that, can I! It’ll be picked by me, all friends in a scene and an idea of where I believe the future of alternative is.”

The first Rolling Stone UK Awards kicked off earlier tonight with a performance from The Last Dinner Party, who stunned attendees with a powerful rendition of ‘My Lady Of Mercy’.

Yungblud is nominated for the Live Act Award at tonight’s ceremony, up against Nova Twins, Rina Sawayama, Louis Tomlinson and more.

The singer kicked off a new era this summer with the release of new song ‘Lowlife’. “I was sick of people, of games, of myself, my friends, anytime I did anything some idiot had an opinion about it,” Yungblud said of what inspired the new track.
