Represent's performance wear line, 247, teams up with the American rock band on its first music collaboration
Music goes a long way when you’re at the gym. The perfect playlist can make an hour feel like fifteen minutes, and for Represent co-founders George and Michael Heaton, one band has powered more workouts than most: Avenged Sevenfold.
Now, that heart-pumping playlist has become the foundation for something bigger. 247, Represent’s performance wear line, has teamed up with the American rock band on its first music collaboration, bringing a wardrobe of performance essentials to fans and gymgoers alike.
“Avenged Sevenfold has been a massive part of the soundtrack to our lives and workouts for years,” says Represent co-founder George Heaton. “Connecting with M. Shadows in LA made it clear that we shared the exact same mindset when it comes to training and design. This wasn’t about putting two logos on a shirt; it was about building something authentic to the routines we both live every day.”
Designed with frontman M. Shadows, the capsule collection reimagines iron-pumping gym kit as band merch. The band’s signature Deathbat is proudly stamped across the performance wear that’s finished with worn-in washes, giving them the perfectly lived-in look of our favourite vintage band tees.
While Represent has worked with some of rock’s biggest names, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and Oasis, 247’s first music collaboration proves that performance wear built for hitting a new PB works just as well for everyday life.
Between the EP and the capsule, Avenged Sevenfold are proving they can headline a festival and a gym session with equal conviction.
