When Sarah Burton joined Givenchy as creative director last year, she set out to revitalise the house, beginning with the faces that define it. Moving beyond a traditional fashion campaign, Burton introduced the Givenchy Portrait Series – a platform showcasing friends and muses who embody the brand’s spirit: powerful, fearless, and unapologetically modern.

Now in its third iteration, the series continues with the casting of celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz and artist Isabelle Alburquerque. The renowned artists are joined by model and actress Kaia Gerber who was among the first models chosen by Burton as a Givenchy muse. Shot by Collier Schorr, the campaign highlights the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, capturing a universe of strength and style.

The collection itself reflects Burton’s exploration of modern femininity. Decadence and glamour fuse seamlessly with practicality, while sleek tailoring and subtle nods to menswear create a confident, contemporary silhouette.

At the same time, the campaign embraces irreverence, balancing the collection’s chic severity with a sense of wit and joy. The clothes may command attention, but the portraits are intimate, real, and celebratory – a reminder that Givenchy’s strength lies as much in attitude as in design.

With the Portrait Series, Burton cements her vision for the house: a fearless celebration of women, heritage reimagined for today, and a creative language that speaks boldly, yet joyfully, to a new generation.
