Robyn is the pinnacle of Swedish cool in Acne Studios’ Spring/Summer 2026 campaign
“I’m drawn to people who create worlds, and she does that,” says creative director Jonny Johansson
Sweden has no shortage of icons, but for Acne Studios’ Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, the spotlight falls squarely on Robyn. With just weeks leading up to the release of her ninth studio album, Sexistential, the pop powerhouse steps in front of Nadia Lee Cohen’s lens, in a celebration of subversive style and quintessential Swedish cool.
“I’m drawn to people who create worlds, and she does that,” says Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson. “We hadn’t even seen each other’s latest work, but somehow we were both exploring the same thing – questioning and celebrating this classic idea of female identity, pushing against it and embracing it at the same time.”

The campaign draws on subversive, countercultural portraiture of the 1970s and 1980s. Strong, sensual, and poised, Robyn embodies the androgynous and eclectic spirit of the collection: think patrol shirts in baby blue, rockabilly-inspired styling, and vintage touches reimagined for the modern wardrobe.
“I’ve known Jonny for a very long time, and we’ve collaborated in different ways – we’ve been orbiting each other for a long time,” Robyn reflects. “But this time felt more collaborative than ever.”
Robyn’s involvement with Acne Studios extends beyond the lens. She created the soundtrack for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, presented at Paris Fashion Week in October, weaving her signature sonic world into the runway experience.
