Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård turn up the heat for Valentino Vendetta
Fronting the house’s latest fragrance campaign, the actors simmer with unstoppable passion
Born in Roma, with all its flankers, has cemented itself as one of Valentino’s most popular fragrance line-ups. But even icons need a rival, and this time, the call is coming from inside the house. Enter Valentino Vendetta, the brand’s first fragrance franchise in six years, ushering in a new era of captivating scents.
Inspired by “unstoppable passion” and Valentino’s signature fiery red hue, the new Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo fragrances channel the sensual power of scent. Fronted by actors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård, the campaign brings that intensity to life through a story of chemistry, desire and undeniable attraction.

“To me, intimacy is about honesty and connection,” says Johnson about the campaign. “I’m drawn to Valentino Beauty’s ability to celebrate individuality while creating something that feels both sensual and deeply human”.
While the new fragrance borrows its name from the archives, referencing the Vendetta scent introduced by founder Valentino Garavani in 1991, its composition is entirely modern. Housed in a minimalist bottle that shows off the juice within, it reflects the house’s balance of heritage and modernity.
Vendetta Donna

So, what does unstoppable passion smell like? For Donna, it’s the hypnotic power of tuberose. Sweet yet seductive, the floral heart is lifted by a sparkling red orange opening and grounded by the creamy warmth of sandalwood. Intoxicatingly smooth, it leaves behind a trail of confidence and undeniable allure.
Vendetta Uomo

With its masculine counterpart, spice takes centre stage. A vibrant citrus opening gives way to a warming cinnamon liquor accord, creating a scent that feels both refined and addictive. Balanced with the earthy richness of patchouli and woods, it leaves a lasting impression. Complex, confident and anything but one-dimensional.
