Audio giant Denon is transforming how we experience audio with the launch of its Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro true wireless earbuds, featuring an industry-first personalised sound profile that’s unique to every user.

Leveraging its legacy as an audio pioneer, Denon’s new earbuds feature its proprietary Masimo Adaptive Acoustic Technology (AAT), a unique innovation that analyses each individual’s unique hearing abilities to create bespoke sound profiles.

Game-changing Masimo tech creates unique profile

On initial setup with the Denon Headphones app, the Denon PerL and Denon PerL Pro earbuds play a range of tones into the ears and measures faint sounds called otoacoustic emissions, created by the inner ear. By analysing these emissions, the earbuds determine each person’s unique hearing sensitivities across various frequencies.

Denon’s onboard self-learning engine then synthesises this data to create a personalised sound profile moulded to the user’s hearing. While normal hearing ability differs slightly person to person, the Denon PerL earbuds account for these variances and shape the output audio to deliver every detail precisely tuned for each user. The tool recognises that as everyone hears differently, we shouldn’t all listen the same. No other consumer earbuds currently utilise such an advanced technique to produce bespoke sound.

Premium audio quality

Both PerL models provide top-tier features for flawless audio quality. The higher-spec Denon PerL Pro lets you listen to uncompressed, CD-quality music over Bluetooth using Qualcomm’s latest aptX Lossless technology. This means no compromise on audio quality, retaining 100% of the content from original lossless recordings.

What’s more, the earbuds leverage Dirac Virtuo’s leading-edge algorithms to create more immersive spatial audio from stereo content. This means you’ll feel enveloped in your audio, as if you were listening to surround sound. Denon’s critically-acclaimed sound engineering shines through too, shown by the vivid sonic experience the PerL earbuds provide.
