Disney+ have confirmed a UK release date for their upcoming series ‘Pam & Tommy’, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan.

‘Mamma Mia!’ star James and ‘Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ star Stan play ‘Baywatch’ bombshell Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee respectively in the comedy drama, which depicts the scandal surrounding the former couple’s sex tape and is coming out on Hulu in the US.

The series, co-produced by Seth Rogen, who also appears in the show, will come to Disney+ on February 2 next year, the same day it drops on Hulu in the States.

Last month, the first trailer for ‘Pam & Tommy’ was shared online. The trailer shows Seth Rogen star as electrician and former porn actor Rand Gauthier, who shows porn impresario ‘Uncle Miltie’ (played by Nick Offerman) the home video of Anderson and Lee that he stole from Lee’s home.

The pair then decide to release the tape, which features footage of the famous couple having sex.

‘Pam & Tommy’ will follow the couple’s relationship from their beach wedding just four days after meeting each other, to the legal battles that ensued when their sex tape was uploaded to the internet in 1995.

After suing the video distribution company Internet Entertainment Group, Anderson and Lee entered a confidential settlement agreement with the company which allowed the tape to be made available on its sites again.

‘Pam & Tommy’ is helmed by ‘I, Tonya’ director Craig Gillsepie, written by Rob Siegel, and developed by Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
