A modern-day artist is making waves in the art scene, echoing the transformative influence of the most iconic names in the world of art. New York City-based artist Marko Stout is captivating audiences and drawing attention with a more distinctive approach. Marked by his own style, personality, and à la Warhol techniques, Stout has established the foundations of his influence. But it is his sheer presence, rockstar-like persona, impression on celebrities, and enigmatic skill that has elevated his artistry and set him apart.

Originating from the vibrant shores of the Jersey coastline, Marko Stout embarked on his artistic journey amidst the sun-kissed beaches and briny sea breezes. During his adolescence, he sought refuge in the rhythmic embrace of the waves, the melodious strumming of his guitar, and the camaraderie forged on the high school football field. However, it was aboard a houseboat in Sausalito, California, where Stout’s fervor for art truly ignited. Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the bay and immersed in the eclectic atmosphere of the bohemian enclave, he seized a paintbrush and delved into the depths of his creativity.

Selling his first works at a local San Francisco gallery, Stout quickly realized that his artistic talents held boundless potential. With dreams as vast as the Pacific horizon, he set his sights on the bustling metropolis of New York City—a beacon of opportunity and inspiration for artists the world over. It was here, amidst the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets, that Stout’s vision truly flourished.

Since making the leap to the concrete jungle, Stout has made his mark on the international art scene, showcasing his work at prestigious events such as Art Basel in Miami, Foire Internationale D’Art De Paris, and The London Art Show. His artistic canvas has become a stage for creativity, elegance, and the pure essence of opulence—a testament to his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.

From exclusive solo exhibitions in New York City’s most distinguished galleries to the global stage of international art shows, Stout’s work continues to captivate audiences with its magnetic allure. Since then, his name has become a household utterance among New York celebrities, as he has gained impressive acclaim for his bold, industrial pop art style. The artist describes himself as a multimedia artist who is unafraid of any creative medium. From paintings and sculptures to video and photography, Stout has become adored for creating some of the most vibrant pop-style work in New York.

However, it is not simply his vibrant pop style work that has resulted in his prominence across the art industry, but the importance behind his works. These include challenging personal beliefs and widely accepted notions. Stout’s work sits on the beautiful fringe of challenging the norms via his unconventional approach. The artist says he takes his inspiration for his metal paintings from photographs of models, incorporating digital tech to create his distinctive artistic effect. He then infuses his works into aluminum and other metals, which results in his genuinely unique and contemporary trademark. Many of those who attended New York City’s prestigious Tribeca Gallery in 2019 have called Stout’s work, “Erotic Allure Volume 3”, the main highlight of that year’s autumn art season. Despite the challenges brought in 2020, Stout remained passionate and devoted, turning his focus to the digital environment. As an artist already well-known for his online work, the transition to fully digital didn’t slow him down.

According to Stout, his work focuses on vibrant colors that he intentionally uses to represent the exploration of peak human experiences.

Over the last several years, he has produced the NYC Independent Art Film Festival, “the LIPS Film Festival,” and subsequently garnered critical acclaim in Japan, Amsterdam, and Paris. As his work gains more appreciation, the NYC art scene is privy to a front-row view of his stunning art.

Marko Stout is scheduled to present two solo exhibitions in the near future. The first, titled “Glitz & Glamour,” will preview at Anita Rogers Gallery, situated at 494 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013 on 05/09/2024. Following this, “Symphony of Opulence” will be showcased at Kate Oh Gallery, located at 31 E 72nd St, New York, NY 10021, in the Fall of 2024.
