Social Media and The Pursuit of Happiness: Bringing Artists and Fans True Joy
In partnership with APG

Social media is not only a tool for today’s artists. For some, it’s their only stage. It’s where songs are shared before they’re sung on tour, fans are born, and self-made careers are paved through hashtags and hustle. The promises of connection and opportunity are there. Still, the mainstream social media landscape can feel more like a crowded marketplace than a creative haven. Intuuv emerges as an innovative platform in this space, as it reimagines social media as a space for joy, creativity, and human connection.
Redesigning the Feed with a New Kind of Social Space
Founder Raphael Chudaitov designed Intuuv to depart from the noise and narcissism that usually define digital life. He built it as a wellness-first, intention-led social media space that encourages people to interact from a place of genuine inspiration and not out of obligation or addiction. Users aren’t fed anxiety-inducing metrics or performative content. They’re invited to experience an environment where joy and self-expression are prioritised.
The platform integrates features that recalibrate people’s relationship with technology. The app features a strict 1-hour daily time limit, hides follower counts, and engages with music and visuals that promote a more mindful online experience. It particularly stands out for its dedication to musicians, especially those outside the machinery of major labels. Intuuv empowers artists to build and own their creative ecosystems from the ground up.
What’s Missing from Today’s Platforms
Chudaitov acknowledges that mainstream social media platforms have prioritised algorithms that chase engagement at the expense of authenticity. Artists are then forced to choose optimisation over expression. They produce content that would garner the most likes and shares, anything that would increase the chance of being pushed into fleeting virality.
The founder states that adding to the issue is the industry’s financial infrastructure built around gatekeepers. Streaming platforms pay artists fractions of pennies per play. Meanwhile, managers, distributors, and platforms usually take the lion’s share of profits. “Independent musicians face this paradox where they’re living in an era of unlimited access and yet they still struggle to be seen, heard, and supported,” Chudaitov remarks. “This also applies to chart-toppers and everyone in between. Why shouldn’t artists have full control over the work they’ve done? We’ve already seen some of this happen, with high-profile artists already buying back the rights to their music, or having to recreate it from scratch.”

Furthermore, Chudaitov has seen how digital spaces reinforce hierarchy and idol worship. Mutual respect between artists and fans is rarely encouraged as the attention economy flattens individuality and disconnects creators from their communities. “Artists are either invisible or hyper-visible, with little in between,” says Chudaitov. “Many creatives enter the industry for love, but end up feeling exploited, disillusioned, or pressured to fit moulds that don’t reflect their spirit.”
Restoring the Loop: Intuuv Improves Artist-Fan Relationships
Intuuv’s model allows artists to invite their fanbase to support projects directly, whether through crowdfunding the production of a new album or organising an independent concert. Fans then become partners in creation. This framework offers a transparent, mutually empowering ecosystem where music is funded upfront. It can help reduce financial risk and, at the same time, allow artists to act with full creative freedom.
For fans, the experience is equally rewarding. Instead of streaming songs on platforms that give little back to creators, they’re helping their favorite artists build their careers. The relationship becomes founded in mutual trust and emotional investment.
The Story Behind the Vision
Behind the scenes of this platform is an inspirational story. Chudaitov is a visionary whose journey from self-doubt to self-trust now shapes the experience he’s creating for others. Once a painfully shy child, he understands what it means to silence one’s voice and reclaim it with courage.
Intuuv was born from intuition and the belief that joy, creativity, and healing are interconnected. The founder’s first name, Raphael, contains the word heal when rearranged. It reflects the long line of humanitarian figures who inspired him, including his father, who runs a nonprofit offering free healthcare and meals, and his grandfather, who risked his life during the war to save thousands. That legacy of service extends to him, who combined his entrepreneurial expertise and experiences of battling depression to uplift others, especially those who feel unseen.
Chudaitov believes that every artist is already “making it” if they’re creating from love. He honours the courage of those who keep writing, recording, and performing despite the odds. Through Intuuv, he ensures no gatekeeper stands between a creator and their calling.
A New Digital Stage Embracing the Indie Spirit
Social media, through platforms like Intuuv, will continue to evolve, and so must the expectations of what it can be. Chudaitov remarks: “Platforms don’t have to exploit our time, our attention, and our emotions. They don’t have to commodify creativity or distort the sacred relationship between artist and audience. They can be sanctuaries where art flourishes, humans connect, and joy becomes a currency. A place where healing is at the forefront of every interaction we have.”
