Sony has announced a brand partnership with Post Malone to front the launch of its ULT POWER SOUND speaker series.

The collaboration is part of the tech giant’s “For The Music” campaign and marks the beginning of a wider tie-in with the US star, who said the range aims to bring fans closer to the music “in a real way”.

The new lineup includes four speakers and a wireless microphone set, all built around Sony’s bass-focused ULT audio tech.

Leading the pack are the ULT TOWER 9 and ULT TOWER 9AC, large-format speakers built for powerful sound pressure and 360-degree audio, complete with karaoke and guitar inputs. Both models feature Sony’s ULT button, offering a choice between two bass settings.

For more portable options, the ULT FIELD 5 and ULT FIELD 3 are designed to be carried over the shoulder and offer waterproof, dustproof playback on the go. The FIELD 5 features a 25-hour battery life, while the FIELD 3 comes in at 24 hours. A pair of saltwater-resistant wireless microphones, the ULTMIC1, rounds out the range – perfect for karaoke at the beach (if the situation arises).

Post Malone described the collaboration as a natural fit, adding: “This ULT POWER SOUND series is insane – everyone should really experience this.”

The ULT POWER SOUND series is available in the UK from April 2025, with prices ranging from £130 for the microphones to £850 for the top-tier tower speaker.
