Russell Crowe to play Glastonbury as festival unveils latest line-up

The Hollywood icon is off to Worthy Farm.

Glastonbury has unveiled the line-up for this year’s Acoustic Stage, with Hollywood royalty set to take the stage in the form of Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe.

The official 2024 line-up for Glastonbury was first revealed last month – with Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA all set to headline the Pyramid Stage – while Shania Twain will perform in the legends slot.

In the wake of the main announcement, organisers of theWorthy Farm event have begun the countdown to Glastonbury 2024 by sharing the list of artists playing on individual stages.

Today (April 12) sees the announcement of the Acoustic Stage – with a string of new artists being announced as performers between June 28 and June 30.

Friday will see performances led by Scouting For Girls, alongside Tanita Tikaram, Deverish, Stornoway, Josh Rous, Angie McMahon, John Smith, The Burma and many more

Saturday, meanwhile, will take in sets from Russell Crowe’s Indoor Garden Party, Ocean Colour Scene, folk icon Ralph McTell and many more.

The Sunday will also be rounded off with sets from Gipsy Kings (featuring Tonino Baliardo), Judy Collins London Community Gospel Choir, Bernard Butler, Frankie Archer and more.

Tickets for this year’s Festival are sold out, but a customary Spring resale date will take place later this month.
