Matt Champion – formerly of Brockhampton – has linked up with BLACKPINK‘s Jennie on a track from his newly-announced debut album.

Mika’s Laundry will be released on March 22 via RCA Records, and new track ‘Slow Motion’ follows recent singles ‘Aphid’ and ‘Slug’.

Discussing his solo career and the debut album, Champion said: “The whole process of this album was trying to find something without looking for it.”

Brockhampton broke up in 2022, releasing two final albums – The Family and TM – that same year. Champion’s bandmate Kevin Abstract released new solo album, Blanket, at the end of 2023.

Jennie, meanwhile, recently re-launched her solo career after half a decade. She also celebrated her ‘Solo’ music video reaching 1billion views on YouTube, the second K-pop song by a solo performer to do so, following in the footsteps of Psy’s 2012 smash ‘Gangnam Style’.
