Burna Boy’s history-making show at the London Stadium last month will be available to stream on Apple Music Live on Wednesday, July 19.

The show, which marked the first time an African artist headlined a stadium in the U.K, saw the self-described African Giant joined by an all-star bill of guests that included Dave, J Hus and Stormzy.

“I had an unforgettable experience performing at London Stadium,” Burna Boy said of the show, which fans can watch here.

“The energy from the crowd was unmatched, and I’m grateful to all my fans for their unwavering support. Being featured in Apple Music Live is an incredible opportunity to share this historic moment with my fans worldwide. I’m excited for everyone to witness the magic we created that night. Special thanks to Apple Music for capturing and showcasing the performance.”

The huge stadium show came just weeks before Burna became the first African artist to sell out a stadium show in the US, playing to 41,000 fans at New York’s Citi Field Stadium on July 8.

He is a leading light of Afrobeats’ rise on the global stage and the most-streamed Nigerian artist of all time on Apple Music with hits such as ‘Last Last’ and his hit smash latest ‘Sittin on Top of the World’.

He also featured on the cover of Rolling Stone UK in March 2022. You can read that feature here.
