Jai Paul has announced details of his first ever shows in London and New York, days after making his live debut at Coachella.

The elusive producer will play two shows in New York next week, before heading to London’s Outernet for two more shows at the start of May.

Tickets will be available exclusively via a ballot on his website. Fans can sign up for a chance to access tickets to the New York shows by 10 pm EST on Wednesday, April 19; while the London date will need fans to sign up by 10 a.m. BST on Wednesday, May 3.

Paul’s debut Coachella slot saw him perform with a live band that featured his brother A.K Paul on guitar. They ran through a collection of acclaimed offerings that fans have been clamouring to hear live, including ‘Jasmine’, ‘BTSTU’ and ‘He’.

Since emerging in the late 2000s, Paul has shunned the spotlight. The artist’s debut project was leaked on Bandcamp in early 2013, which proved disastrous for him personally. He told fans that “things gradually went south and I had a breakdown of sorts. I was in quite a bad place for some time. I was unable to work and withdrew from life in general”. The project, Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones), was officially released in 2019, with Paul saying that a lot of the music was and would remain unfinished. Since then he’s shared only a double single: ‘Do You Love Her Now’/‘He’.
