The singer’s last album, the Antonoff-produced Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?, came out in early 2023, and this month she teased a new country song, ‘Henry, Come On’.

In a new video update to fans, she revealed that she is currently in Tennessee and discussed the performance of the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL.

Going on to her musical plans, she added: “Jack’s in town and I’m going to see him, work on some little songs.” She went on to reveal that she’d had a “beautiful week with [producer and songwriter] Luke Laird”.

Later this year, Lana Del Rey will headline Coachella, and also top the bill at Barcelona’s Primavera Sound alongside Pulp and Vampire Weekend.

Del Rey is also up for five awards at next month’s Grammy Awards for Did You Know… including Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album. Her track ‘A&W’ is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Alternative Music Performance, while Jon Batiste collaboration ‘Candy Necklace’ is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Reviewing Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd? upon its release last year, Rolling Stone UK said: “For so long, Del Rey has been considered a sort of spokesperson for those of us prone to narrativising the especially torturous aspects of relationships, but on this album, her light notably touches so much more: her family; her friends; her great musical gift and those who inspire and are inspired by it; and most especially, herself.”
