Bombay Bicycle Club announce ‘My Big Day’ album featuring Damon Albarn and others

The band also share the title track and details of tour shows in support of their new record

Bombay Bicycle Club have shared details of their sixth album My Big Day, which features collaborations with Damon Albarn, Nilüfer Yanya, Holly Humberstone and others.

The album is released on 20 October via AWAL and is the follow-up to 2020’s Everything Else Has Gone Wrong. Pre-order it here.

My Big Day was produced by the band’s singer and guitarist Jack Steadman at The Church Studios in north London as well as the group’s own studio.

Bombay Bicycle Club have accompanied the album news with the release of its first single, ‘My Big Day’, which comes with a video directed by Everything Everything’s Jon Higgs and Foals percussionist Kit Monteith.

A fifth collaborator on the album is set to be revealed later this year.

The band wrap two intimate return shows in Ramsgate and London tonight (15 June) ahead of a series of UK and European festival appearances including Mad Cool, Y Not, Pukkelpop and WOMAD.

They will then play embark on a record store tour this autumn in support of the album’s release followed by a full European headline tour this November. See the full list of tour dates.
