Halsey has announced that their ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ film is now available to rent and buy online.

The Colin Tilley-directed film, which comes alongside Halsey‘s new album of the same name, initially received a run of screenings in IMAX cinemas, before being made available on the HBO Max streaming service in the US in October.

Last night (December 20), Halsey then took to Twitter to reveal that the film is now available to rent and buy via Amazon, iTunes and more online services.

It’ll be available in all these places globally!” she added in a follow-up tweet. “Some territories might take longer for it to show up in the store so hang tight 🙂 it’s coming to all of youuuuuuu.”

A synopsis for the film reads: “Set to the music of Halsey’s fourth studio album, this one-of-a-kind film experience stars the two-time GRAMMY nominee as the young and pregnant Queen Lila. After a shocking event, Lila unlocks a paranormal power within and discovers her ability to create life (and end it).

“Offering a stunning visual treat for fans, this evocative, horror-tinged fairytale explores the labyrinth of sexuality and birth. ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ was written by Halsey and directed by Colin Tilley. The album was produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The film was produced by Halsey, Jamee Ranta and Anthony Li.”

In 2022, Halsey will headline Reading & Leeds festivals in the UK as one of six headliners across two main stages.

The dual event will return on the August Bank Holiday Weekend (26-28) next year. Arctic Monkeys, who are headlining R+L for the third time, are due to perform on the Main Stage East following sets from Fontaines D.C. and Wolf Alice (Saturday in Reading, Sunday in Leeds).

Dave will top the bill on Friday in Reading and Saturday in Leeds while Rage Against The Machine are scheduled for Sunday in Reading and Friday in Leeds.

Taking the top spots on the Main Stage West, meanwhile, will be Megan Thee Stallion and Bring Me The Horizon alongside Halsey.
