Kylie Minogue and Jessie Ware have shared the fashion-flared video for their new disco single ‘Kiss Of Life’.

The pair are glamorously chaotic in the Pedro Almodóvar-inspired 1980s telenovela. Shot at the stylish London Ave Mario restaurant, the video was directed by regular Minogue collaborator Sophie Muller.

Opening with Ware chopping tomatoes and telling kitchen staff “I need you to be on your a-game”, Minogue then walks in wearing a giant feather headpiece.

The flamboyant restaurant-goers soon erupt into dancing and congas, wrapping up with Minoque reviewing the restaurant on a typewriter as a “five star experience”.

The track was written by Minogue, Ware, James Ford (The Last Shadow Puppets), Danny Parker (who’s previously worked with James Blunt) and Shungudzo (previous Ware collaborator).

Minogue last month announced the ‘DISCO: Guest List Edition’, which is an expanded version of her 2020 album.

Following a recent collaboration with Years & Years on ‘A Second to Midnight’, the record will include remixes from Purple Disco Machine, Basement Jaxx, Syn Cole and more. A Studio 2054 remix of  ‘Real Groove’ featuring Dua Lipa is also set to appear on the album.

Another track ‘Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You’, was recorded with American disco legend Gloria Gaynor, known for her 1978 track ‘I Will Survive’.

Minogue’s 15th album peaked at Number One in the UK last year, which made her the first female artist to achieve a UK Number One in five consecutive decades.

The singer also recently confirmed that she is moving back to Australia after 30 years of living in the UK. She told BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball: “I have spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good and I have been talking about that for a while. Don’t worry, I will not be a stranger.”

She added that touring again was a possibility, noting she was “dreaming of doing dates” and to “keep your disco outfit not too far away – not at the back of the cupboard.”

Minogue will release her forthcoming album, ‘Disco: Guest List Edition’ on November 12. It’s available for pre-order here.
