Kylie Minogue and Jessie Ware have joined forces on their brand new single ‘Kiss of Life’, taken from Minogue’s upcoming album.

The collaboration is a delightfully upbeat disco groove. It was written by Minogue, Ware, James Ford (of the Last Shadow Puppets), Danny Parker (who has previously worked with James Blunt) and Shungudzo (who has previously worked with Jessie Ware).

‘Kiss of Life’ follows the release of Minogue’s recent collaboration with Years & Years on ‘A Second to Midnight’, released earlier this month on October 6.

Minogue’s upcoming album, ‘Disco: Guest List Edition’ is an expanded version of her 2020 album. It will include remixes from Purple Disco Machine, Basement Jaxx, Syn Cole and more. A Studio 2054 remix featuring Dua Lipa is also set to appear on the album.

The album will include a collaboration with iconic American singer Gloria Gaynor, known for her 1978 track ‘I Will Survive’. Whilst the name of their song has been confirmed as ‘Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You’, the track is yet to be released.

Minogue’s 2020 album peaked at number one in the UK, which made her the first female artist to achieve a UK number one in five consecutive decades. Her 2021 expanded edition of the album will be released in a variety of different formats, including triple vinyl, double vinyl and Blu-ray.

Minogue recently confirmed that she is moving back to Australia after 30 years of living in the UK. The singer told BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball: “I have spent a lot of time with my family this year in Australia and it felt really good and I have been talking about that for a while. Don’t worry, I will not be a stranger.”

The singer also discussed the possibility of touring again. She told Ball that she was “dreaming of doing dates” and to “Keep your disco outfit not too far away. Not at the back of the cupboard.”

Kylie Minogue will release her forthcoming album, ‘Disco: Guest List Edition’ on November 12. Jessie Ware released her fourth studio album, ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’ last year on June 26, and a deluxe version of the album dropped on June 11 this year.
