Lana Del Rey performed her anticipated concert at BST Hyde Park last night (9 July) – see the setlist and footage below.

The singer, who made headlines last month after getting cut off mid-song when reaching the curfew at Glastonbury, was happy to poke fun at herself at her latest headline show. In June, Del Rey arrived 30 minutes late for her The Other Stage slot at the Somerset festival and blamed the delay on her lengthy hair styling.

Now, she’s made light of the situation by bringing her hairdresser onstage with her. According to the Evening Standard the moment happened when she was performing ‘Bartender’ from her 2019 album Norman Fucking Rockwell!.

After this time appearing a reported 20 minutes late, and opening her set with ‘A&W’ from latest album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Del Rey appeared surprised about the mammoth size of the audience. “God damn, this is a big crowd,” she is said to have exclaimed.

The US artist ran through many classics from her back catalogue including ‘Born to Die’ and ‘Blue Jeans’ from her major label debut, 2012’s Born to Die. Elsewhere, she re-treated the song ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ from the 2021 album of the same name with pointed new lyrics aimed at an ex, and rounded off the night with her breakthrough 2011 song ‘Video Games’.

She also ensured to connect more intimately with the crowd, taking a moment halfway through her set to embrace fans on the front row and pose for selfies.
