Lorde teases new ‘chapter’ in cryptic Instagram post
'I’m just getting so hype n needed to let u know'

Lorde has seemingly teased a fresh era of music on social media, but also warned fans that they might be waiting a while to hear it.
The ‘Solar Power’ singer shared on photo of herself wearing headphones on Instagram yesterday (December 17), alongside the caption ‘Listening to myself’.
Elaborating further in a comment on a fan page that had predicted news of a fourth album, the singer wrote: “We’re not CLOSE close you guys .. i’m just getting so hype n needed to let u know.”
She added: “Start ur excitement on a low flame and bring it up to a gentle simmer .. we building stamina for this chapter.”
Lorde previously teased new material back in August, writing on Instagram: “These times are beautiful and they freak me out and there’s so much to tell you.
“No this is not the start of anything out there, just want u to know there’s a light on inside me .. show it to you soon.”
In September, she also celebrated a decade since the release of Pure Heroine, her acclaimed debut album.
