Oasis fans can get a fork to keep their milk fresh after legendary Liam Gallagher story
A genius nod to Oasis lore...
By Nick Reilly

Oasis fans have been given the chance to get their hands on an unusual keepsake, in honour of a legendary story involving Liam Gallagher and a fork.
Deliveroo is offering fans the chance to win a fork printed with the words “keeps milk fresh” when they order a pint of milk via Deliveroo HOP on the days that the brothers perform in Manchester (11, 12, 16, 19 and 20 July).
It’s in honour of a hilarious story that Noel once told about the time he poured Liam a glass of previously opened champagne, having placed a fork in the bottle to keep it fresh. In turn, Noel visited Liam’s house a short while later and noticed he’d placed a fork in his pint of milk, mistakenly but hilariously believing that it would have the same effect on the dairy product. It’s since been branded the “best Oasis story ever” by a number of their fans.
Now, Deliveroo users can get their hands on their own forks when ordering in Manchester on those particular dates.

Luke Baker, City Manager for Manchester at Deliveroo, adds: “We’re buzzing for the brothers’ big return to Manchester this July, and we know our customers will be counting down the days, too. So we wanted to mark the occasion and give local superfans a free keepsake, created by Deliveroo, that celebrates the iconic duo – and their IYKYK anecdotes – for years to come. It’s one for the real fans, and it’s as easy as milk to get your hands on!”
The music icons made their return last Friday (July 4) where they played to over 75,000 people at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. It marked the first time they had reunited in 16 years and was hailed by RS UK as a “joyous celebration of reconciliation” in our five star review. They will kick off their Heaton Park shows tonight.
