Oasis won’t be headlining Glastonbury next year, Emily Eavis confirms
One of the biggest rumours for next year on Worthy Farm has been ruled out

Oasis are hitting the road in 2027 for a huge tour but they won’t be heading to Glastonbury Festival, co-organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed.
The band announced a huge run of shows in UK, the Europe and the US earlier this week, with some fans noticing a Glastonbury-shaped hole in the calendar.
But while 11 dates at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and four returns to their spiritual home of Knebworth are on the agenda, it seems that a show at Worthy Farm very much isn’t on the table.
“Please say you’ve got Oasis,” commented one Glastonbury follower on Instagram yesterday. Eavis then replied: “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”
Though this seems that Oasis are now ruled out, the likes of Sam Fender and Harry Styles have all been linked with an appearance at the festival next summer. Earlier this month, festival bosses confirmed that coach and ticket packages for Glastonbury 2027 will go on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday, 1 October, followed by a standard ticket sale at 9am BST on Sunday, 4 October. As is customary, fans are required to register on Glastonbury’s website for the sales.
And if disappointed Oasis fans are looking for a festival atmosphere of their own, the band confirmed yesterday that fans will be able to pitch up a tent at some of the Knebworth shows. Fans attending the shows on Saturday 11 and Saturday 18 September can take advantage of camping options which allows them to arrive on the Friday, a day before the shows, and depart on the Sunday morning. It is hoped that this will alleviate travel pressures on the day of the shows.
Fans who are successful in purchasing a Saturday ticket will have the option to add a campsite village ticket to allow them access to these facilities, along with late night entertainment in the campsite village on Friday and Saturday nights. The Campsite Village is priced at £60 per person.
Earlier this week, Noel Gallagher revealed exactly when Oasis decided to follow up their huge 2025 comeback with another run of shows next year, and whether or not fans can expect to hear some new music.
