A run of shows from Rihanna is reportedly set to take place in London next year after the shows were shelved this summer.

Rumours emerged in February that the singer would be returning to the stage for a six-night residency at the London Stadium, first emerging in The Telegraph.

The first show was said to be arranged for July 4 and the report cited a “senior concert industry source”, though no announcement ever emerged.

Now, The Sun reports that the shows will instead take place in 2026 instead.

A source told the publication: “Rihanna pulled the plug just days before her 2025 tour was due to be announced. There ended up being issues with production and scheduling conflicts, plus she didn’t feel like her music was ready. But Rihanna and her team are now confident they can make it work for next year. The dates will also coincide with the tenth anniversary of [her last album] Anti, and fans can expect to hear her new music too.”

The singer is also currently pregnant with her third child with A$AP Rocky.

Though the singer hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti, a new song emerged earlier this year when she dropped new single ‘Friend of Mine’, an upbeat, Afrobeats-inspired dance track written for forthcoming animated movie Smurfs.
