Scissor Sisters and Calum Scott bring the music to the 2025 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards
Both acts were part of a massive night down at the Camden Roundhouse

The Scissor Sisters and Callum Scott were among the musical acts wowing guests at the 2025 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards, powered by Jaguar, last night.
The recently reunited American legends brought the curtain down on the event in spectacular fashion as they delivered a medley of their greatest hits including ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dancing’, ‘Laura’ and ‘Filthy Gorgeous.
They also picked up the Music Icon Award, presented by Mawaan Rizwan, and exclusively revealed that they are working on new music.
Receiving the Music Icon Award, frontman Jake Shears said: “Fun fact: We were standing in this very spot on stage at the Roundhouse twelve years ago, where I announced that it would be our last Scissor Sisters concert for the foreseeable future. In hindsight, I probably should have told my bandmates first.”
He continued: “But you know what – here we are, and the most incredible thing about coming back together after all these years is how little we’ve aged.”
Shears added: “Twenty-plus years ago, we came over here with some moth-eaten sequin leggings and a handful of tunes, and immediately felt such excitement for our music and shows. It’s been a place that has made us feel very loved and accepted. It’s exciting to look back, but even more thrilling to look forward. We’re back in the studio making new music, so the beginning of the next chapter is well underway.”
There was also a chance for Callum Scott to show off his take on Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, which sees him duet with the late music icon after her estate granted rare permission for the song to be used.
The Scissor Sisters were among a glittering array of winners, including Attitude’s latest cover stars, Russell Tovey, Dannii Minogue and Tiara Sky.
