Sleaford Mods frontman Jason Williamson has made an unexpected cameo in Olivia Colman’s new television series.

Williamson appeared in HBO’s ‘Landscapers’, which premiered on Sky Atlantic yesterday (December 7). The show stars Colman alongside ‘Harry Potter’ actor David Thewlis.

An official synopsis of the show reads: “Landscapers tells a unique love story involving a seemingly ordinary couple who become the focus of an extraordinary investigation when a couple of dead bodies are discovered in the back garden of a house in Nottingham.

“Mild-mannered husband and wife Susan (Colman) and Christopher Edwards (David Thewlis) have been on the run from reality for over 15 years. When Christopher makes a startling call home to his step-mother, their role in a terrible crime that remained undiscovered for over a decade begins to emerge into the light. As their relationship is subjected to the glare of a full police investigation, the devoted couple are separated for the first time in their marriage.”

After the show aired on Sky Atlantic, many fans on social media pointed out the Sleaford Mods frontman’s appearance.

Williamson himself later confirmed his appearance in a tweet, which you can see below. He shared a still image of himself in the show along with the caption “out now.”

Last month, the group played a hometown headline show in Nottingham as part of their ‘Spare Ribs’ UK tour.

Their tour began in Manchester and ran until early December, with a final show in Brighton last week.
