Taylor Swift has confirmed that she’ll join forces with Lana Del Rey for the only duet to feature on her upcoming album Midnights.

Over the past week, Swift has been sharing the record’s song titles via her TikTok series ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me’, where she randomly picked out tracks by choosing balls from a bingo cage.

Concluding the series earlier today, Swift shared five song titles in videos consecutively posted every hour. The final batch of song titles were revealed to be the album opener ‘Lavender Haze’, fifth track ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid’, track 10 ‘Labyrinth’, track 12 ‘Sweet Nothings’ and – most excitingly – fourth track ‘Snow On The Beach’ which is a duet with Lana Del Rey.

You can watch Swift’s reveal in full below.

It comes after she initially announced the album in August while at the VMAs, where she won three awards including Best Longform Video, Video Of The Year and Best Direction for ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)’.

While collecting the award for Video of the Year, the star made the announcement on stage. “My brand new album comes out October 21,” she said. “I will tell you more at midnight.”

She followed up with the album art and a statement, which crashed Swift’s official website.

“We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back,” the statement read. “We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren’t – right this minute – about to make some fateful life-altering mistake.

“This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night,a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves.

Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out 21 October. Meet me at midnight.”

Swift’s most recent albums of original material arrived in 2020, with Folklore and Evermore. Last year, she released the first two of her re-recorded albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version). Swift took the decision to re-record the records after her masters were bought by Scooter Braun, sparking a huge feud.
