The first preview of Taylor Swift’s ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’ has arrived in the trailer for a new Amazon series, ahead of its full arrival tomorrow (May 6).

The preview of the track in the first trailer for The Summer I Turned Pretty confirms long-standing rumours that Swift’s 2014 album ‘1989’ will be the next to arrive in her continuing series of re-recorded albums.

Swift took the move to re-record her first six studio albums to create new masters in 2019, giving her complete ownership of her back catalog, following the controversial acquisition of her former label Big Machine Records by Scooter Braun.

So far, both ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ and ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ arrived in 2021.

‘This Love’ initially featured on the Grammy-winning ‘1989’, while Swift’s latest version soundtracks Amazon’s adaptation of Jenny Han’s YA romance novels.

The show is described as a multigenerational drama that focuses on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the strong relationship between mothers and their children, and the power of strong female friendship.

“I’ve always been so proud of this song,” Swift said in a statement, “and I’m very 🥺🥺🥺 about this turn of events!”
