Mark Ronson brought his legendary status to tonight’s 2026 BRIT Awards in Manchester after being awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Music award.

“It means so many things to get this award,” Ronson said accepting the award, before paying tribute to the late Amy Winehouse, remembering when he met her 20 years ago “this week” and how they wrote ‘Back To Black’ together the same day – something he said “changed his life forever.”

He also went to thank other artists who have collaborated with him over the years including Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Queens of the Stone Age and RAYE. He continued: “The music I made with Amy is the reason any of them know who I am anyway, so that’s why I will also treasure her voice, her talent, our bond, all of it.”

After this, he performed ‘Ooh Wee’ on stage with Ghostface Killah before again paying tribute to Winehouse with a performance of ‘Back To Black’ – which was prefaced with a clip of Winehouse talking about Ronson – and ‘Valerie’, with Winehouse’s band The Dap-Kings.

After that, there was a rendition of his hit with Bruno Mars ‘Uptown Funk’, before a surprise appearance from Dua Lipa on ‘Dance The Night’ from the Barbie soundtrack and ‘Electricity’. You can watch this below:
