Olivia Rodrigo was joined by Natalie Imbruglia on-stage in London last night (July 6) to perform Imbruglia’s seminal 1997 hit ‘Torn’ together.

It comes after Rodrigo first performed the track – which featured on Imbruglia’s debut album, ‘Left Of The Middle – days before during a spontaneous karaoke bar performance “I’m devastated and terrified, and so many women and girls are going to die because of this,” Rodrigo told the audience. “I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us at the end of the day they truly don’t give a shit about freedom.”after her show at the Manchester Apollo on Sunday (July 3).

The performance, which you can see below, sees Rodrigo & Imbruglia backed by a full band for the song, as well as the enthusiastic vocals of Rodrigo’s fans.

The latest high-profile duet on Rodrigo’s UK shows comes after she was joined by Lily Allen during her debut Glastonbury performance to sing ‘Fuck You’, a stinging riposte to the US Supreme Court a day after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

“I’m devastated and terrified, and so many women and girls are going to die because of this,” Rodrigo told the audience. “I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us at the end of the day they truly don’t give a shit about freedom.”

Rodrigo also confirmed earlier this year that work on the follow-up to her debut album ‘Sour’ is well under way.

In a new interview with Billboard, Rodrigo revealed: “I have a title for my next album and a few songs. It’s really exciting to think about the next world that’s coming up for me. I just love writing songs. I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself…just sort of explore and have fun right now.”
