ENNY and Odeal have shared the music video for their collaboration ‘Bernie Mac’.

The London rappers get suited and booted for a vintage-style heist in the Chris Chuky-directed video, which you can watch below.

It follows the release of ENNY‘s debut EP, ‘Under Twenty Five’, released in July, which addresses “everything from sexual abuse through to unity amongst Black women”, according to a press release.

ENNY has enjoyed a successful 12 months, having won two AIM Awards and secured three nominations at this year’s GRM Rated Awards.

She’s been confirmed for two live shows – The Great Escape’s First Fifty at Oslo in London on November 17 and next year will play Barcelona’s Primavera Sound festival on June 4, 2022.

Last month, Rolling Stone UK’s Christine Ochefu reviewed the rapper’s show in Islington, London, awarding it four stars out of five and hailing it as a “hugely impressive set from the rising star”.

“A late highlight comes in an impromptu re-lick of Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop (That Thing’, with ENNY covering Hill’s raps while the crowd are given the chance to take the chorus and ad-libs into their own hands,” Ochefu wrote further into the review.

“You suspect that it might be a savvy move to play into past comparisons between ENNY and the Fugees frontwoman – but it’s lapped up by a crowd who instantly take the neo-soul tones to heart.

“Elsewhere, a special guest emerges in fellow rising artist and good friend R.A.E, who threatens to momentarily steal the show by jumping straight into the crowd mid-performance.

“But ‘A Million Freestyle’ instantly has the room near silent, quickly commanding attention by moving into stripped back settings. She makes a wise choice in closing with ‘Peng Black Girls,’ an obvious crowd favourite, before running off quickly, seemingly a little shy with the ensuing appreciation.”

She concluded: “It’s a promising early performance from an artist still blossoming, yet clearly already with the makings of a much larger, standout talent – whether she’s yet to realise or not.”

ENNY’s debut EP ‘Under Twenty Five’ is out now on FAMM record label.
