Brockhampton were joined on stage at London’s Brixton Academy last night (February 7) by slowthai – see footage of the performance below.

The Los Angeles-based boyband were playing one of their last ever shows together, after announcing an indefinite hiatus last month. They play Brixton again tonight (February 8), with April’s Coachella then being their final performance as a group.

Half way through Brockhampton’s set, they beckoned slowthai on stage, who then performed his collaboration with the band, 2019’s ‘Heaven Belongs To You’.

After the performance was complete, Brockhampton then beckoned slowthai to play a song of his own for the crowd. He then proceeded to race through a rendition of his hit single ‘Doorman’.

See footage of both performances below.

Announcing their hiatus last month, Brockhampton said: “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being on this journey with us. We would not be here without our fans. We hope we’ve been able to inspire you as much as you have us these past eight years. We are bonded and grateful to you for life.”

slowthai, meanwhile, recently linked up with James Blake on a new version of the latter’s track, ‘Funeral’.

James Blake and slowthai have previously collaborated on the rapper’s September 2020 single ‘Feel Away,’ which also featured UK post-dubstep stalwarts Mount Kimbie.
