Yard Act, The Amazons, Porches and more added to The Great Escape 2022
Brighton's new music festival returns in May after a two-year hiatus
A hundred more acts have been added to The Great Escape festival’s 2022 line-up.
Yard Act, The Amazons, Porches, Rebecca Black, Sinead O’Brien, Baby Queen and many more acts will now play Brighton’s multi-venue festival, which is held from May 11-14.
The Great Escape returns after a two-year break owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Also announced is The Road To The Great Escape, a two-day celebration of new Scottish and Irish talent held in Glasgow (May 6-7) and Dublin May 9-10).

The Road To The Great Escape promises to bring some of the main festival’s “most exciting new talent” to Scotland and Ireland, including Dublin singer-songwriter Abi Coulibaly, south London producer and multi-instrumentalist Conor Albert as well as Dylan Fraser and English Teacher.

The Leeds band released debut album ‘The Overload’ last week (January 21), the same day that Olly Alexander returned with ‘Night Call’, the third Years & Years album and first as a solo project.
