Pulp play storming secret set at Glastonbury 2025 and even get the Red Arrows involved
The worst kept secret of the weekend was revealed on the Pyramid Stage, with a flyover from the Red Arrows to boot...

Pulp were confirmed as mystery band Patchwork, playing a secret set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this afternoon – here’s what went down.
Rumours had been swirling since the festival’s line-up was announced, with the likes of Oasis and Chappell Roan rumoured to be performing.
It was the Britpop heroes, though, that emerged on stage just after 5pm, playing a set of greatest hits and cuts from new album, More.
“Are you ready for… Pulp summer” said a message on the screens, nodding to Charli XCX’s performance at the festival tonight.
“This is Pulp,” Jarvis Cocker told the enormous crowd once they emerged. “Sorry to the people who were expecting Patchwork. Did you know it was us?”

The set took place 30 years and four days after the band headlined Glastonbury, standing in for The Stone Roses who had pulled out with just a few days’ notice.
As Cocker told the crowd before ‘Do You Remember the First Time?’, he left his first Glastonbury after one day, following a fight with his girlfriend. “To enjoy Glastonbury, you have to submit to it, right? Are you finding that? You submit to it because the whole festival is bigger than any one of us, right? We all come here and we all contribute to it, but then it becomes… I don’t know what it is. It’s alive.”
The set then ended with a flyover from the Red Arrows at the apex of timeless hit ‘Common People’, and Pulp depart the Pyramid Stage as returning heroes.
