Watch Burna Boy sing with Lionesses manager Sarina Wiegman at Euro 2025 parade in London
The manager was visibly shocked when her “favourite artist” and former Rolling Stone UK cover star joined the celebrations on stage at Buckingham Palace

Lionesses manager Sarina Wiegman was surprised on stage at the team’s Euro 2025 victory parade in London yesterday by her favourite singer, Burna Boy.
The celebrations following the team’s penalty shoot-out win over Spain in the final on Sunday saw the team and coaching staff hailed by 65,000 fans at Buckingham Palace.
During the festivities, hosted by broadcaster and former England defender Alex Scott, she welcomed a special guest described as Wiegman’s “favourite artist”.
The manager then appeared visibly shocked when Burna Boy took to the stage to perform his Ed Sheeran collaboration, ‘For My Hand’.
“No way!” she said into the microphone. Burna Boy and Wiegman then danced and sang arm-in-arm, and you can see the performance below.
“I totally did not expect him, I think everyone went out of their minds,” Wiegman told Sky News after the surprise performance.
Burna Boy said: “Big up the Lionesses!” adding that he “found out a few days ago” that Wiegman is a big fan of his, and that the performance was “perfect timing”.
The Lionesses’ Euro 2025 win marks the third time out of three that Wiegman has managed the winners of the European Championships, having done so with England in 2022, and the Netherlands in 2017.
