Jack White has teased an imminent new single called ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ – check out the post below.

The former White Stripes frontman is set to release his fourth and fifth solo albums, ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ and ‘Entering Heaven Alive’, on April 8 and July 22 respectively. They serve as the follow-ups to 2018 ‘s ‘Boarding House Reach’.

Taking to Instagram last night (February 9), White confirmed that the title track from his first 2022 record will arrive tomorrow (February 11). You can pre-save it from here.

The musician’s label, Third Man Records, also shared the news on Twitter along with new blue, black and white artwork – see that post below.

White’s ‘Fear Of The Dawn’ track will follow on from the previous singles ‘Taking Me Back’ and ‘Love Is Selfish’, the latter of which arrived last month.

Announcing the forthcoming double album, a press release stated that White had created two “entirely different” records that were “each defined by different inspirations, different themes [and] different moods”.

Last September, White explained during an interview with The Times that he feels “scared and confused” if there isn’t any “struggle” in his life. “If art is not being made in some way, I start worrying,” he said.

“I wish I could pinpoint why this is necessary for me. I can’t get away from it.”

Around the same time, White performed a surprise gig on a London rooftop to celebrate the opening of a new Third Man Records store in the capital. Before that, he played in the blue basement of the Soho shop.

Jack White is set to return to London for a two-night billing at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London on June 27 and 28. The concerts come as part of the musician’s 2022 world tour, dubbed ‘The Supply Chain Issue Tour’, which kicks off in Detroit, Michigan on April 8.

Fans are speculating over whether White will play at this year’s Glastonbury, with his live schedule pointing towards a possible Worthy Farm comeback. Last week, the festival’s organiser Emily Eavis revealed that the 2022 line-up will arrive at some point next month.
