Liam Gallagher apologises for death threat aimed at football player

Liam Gallagher has said sorry to Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic after he threatened to kill him.
In a tweet sent after Manchester City (who Gallagher supports) beat Madrid 1-0, the former Oasis frontman wrote: “Stefan Savic this is a threat if I come across you ya goofy looking C*** your dead MCFC.”
Gallagher has since deleted the tweet and sent out an apology to the defender who caused some controversy after clashing with City forward Raheem Sterling.
Gallagher’s apology read: “I’m really upset and annoyed at myself. I feel I’ve let all my fans down by my outlandish behaviour I’m a role model to GROWN UPS hope you can forgive me.”
Gallagher then started interacting with fans offering him advice. One fan wrote: “Never act when you are upset or angry, calm down and think, then you’ll be in the right frame of mind,” to which Gallagher replied: “Ok Thsnx for that advice I’m really gonna take that on board.”
Peter Andre also recently revealed that the ‘Everything’s Electric’ singer also apologised for his past behaviour towards him.
It was alleged that Gallagher called the ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer a “c***” during a 2007 interview.
In his column in OK Magazine, Andre detailed Gallagher’s apology: “I bumped into him and he not only apologised, but praised me for being a great father and for my relationship with my kids.”
He added: “It was a bizarre encounter, but a good one.”
Gallagher also recently criticised legendary rock band U2 calling them not “remotely rock and roll”.
He said the Irish rockers behind hits such as ‘Vertigo’ and ‘Beautiful Day’ should have gotten “into a bit more naughty stuff”.
Gallagher’s third solo album ‘C’mon You Know’ is set to be released on 27 May. It features a collaboration with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
