Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ gets deluxe reissue for 20th anniversary

The 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse‘s seminal second album Back to Black will be celebrated with a deluxe reissue.

The late singer’s career-defining second album arrived on October 27, 2006 and went on to sell over 25 million copies globally, as well as netting Winehouse five Grammy Awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

To mark that milestone, the album will now be reissued in a series of formats which will take in unreleased demos, rare B-Sides and a live recording of Winehouse’s 2007 show at Amsterdam’s Paradiso venue.

Also included in the new formats is previously unseen photos by the record’s original photographers Alex Lake and Mischa Richter, as well as as well as new liner notes from producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.

It will be released in a special 3LP clear vinyl and multiple limited-edition 1LP variations, including a Chalkboard Marble colour vinyl. There will also be a webstore-exclusive 1LP Zoetrope vinyl featuring moving footage of Winehouse.

The reissue will be released on October 27, and is available to pre-order here.
