The music might only be starting today at Glastonbury, but punters down on Worthy Farm have been able to keep their wellies packed firmly away as they take advantage of one of the sunniest editions to date.

As temperatures reached a balmy 25C on Thursday, we headed out into the fields to capture a look at festival goers making the most of the heat and taking a vital rest before things really kick into gear today.

Arctic Monkeys will headline the Pyramid Stage after Alex Turner successfully saw off laryngitis, while Foo Fighters are also strongly rumoured to be making a guest appearance too. Check out the best of yesterday’s photos below.

As well as those aforementioned acts, it’s been confirmed that Hozier will make a last minute appearance on the Woodsies stage this evening, which marks his first performance at the festival since 2019.
