Ninja Tune-signed producer and DJ India Jordan has announced that they are changing their artist name to I. JORDAN.

The artist, who released their new EP ‘Watch Out!’ via the influential dance label last summer, shared a statement about the change and thanks fans for their well-wishes.

“I’ve been really excited to share this as it’s felt heavy carrying around “India Jordan” when it really doesn’t resonate with me anymore,” they wrote in a statement.

“Thanks to everyone who’s been an incredible support during this change over period, to everyone who’s been calling me Jordan without prompt (it’s meant a lot!) and to my team for making this transition as seamless as possible.

Looking forward to this new chapter,” Jordan’s message concluded, then promising that new music would be arriving next month.

Jordan is set to play a host of festival dates this summer, including shows at Glastonbury 2022, which unveiled its full line-up yesterday (May 30).
