Jayde Adams has been confirmed as the host of the Rolling Stone UK Awards 2024, taking place at London’s Roundhouse later this week.
The comedian, writer and BAFTA-nominated star will be leading proceedings on Thursday (November 28) as Rolling Stone UK raises a glass to the best of music, TV and film across 2024.
Bristol-based comedian Jayde is a frequent presence on her screens, whether it’s her side-splitting stand-up, her performance in the acclaimed BBC sitcom Alma’s Not Normal, or even notching up a perfect score on Celebrity Mastermind with a specialist subject of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
“I’m made up to be hosting this year’s Rolling Stone UK Awards!” she said. “It’s going to be an lush night celebrating the best of 2024 – see you there!”
The announcement comes after we confirmed that Nile Rodgers will pick up the Global Icon Award, supported by Visit West Hollywood, and New Order will scoop the Icon Award, supported by Visit West Hollywood.
Gongs presented on the night include The Breakthrough Award, The Artist Award, The Album Award, supported by Volvo, The Group Award, The Live Act Award, supported by Connect Live, The Festival Award, supported by Moving Venue, The Song of the Year Award, The Play Next Award, The Record Label Award, The Television Award and The Film Award.
Those in attendance at the Roundhouse can also look forward to performances from JADE, English Teacher, Confidence Man and the cast of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical.
Winners, presenters and VIP guests will also be whisked to and from the historic North London venue in style in luxury Volvo cars, while a multi-platform editorial campaign will be utilising Rolling Stone UK ’s presence in print and digital forms, online and across social platforms to create a moment of a scale rarely seen in UK music media.
