Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall has confirmed that she has officially signed a solo record deal with RCA Records.

It’s believed that the singer will work with RCA teams in the UK and US teams to launch her international solo career, as MusicWeek reports. Harry Styles’ management team Full Stop will provide worldwide representation.

Jade‘s solo deal follows that of Jesy Nelson, who left the group in 2020 to sign with Polydor, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – who has inked a deal with Polydor.

Her bandmate Perrie Edwards is also thought to be in the process of recording solo material, but is yet to confirm details of any record deal.

Little Mix are currently signed to RCA, but confirmed late last year that they will will be going on a break after “10 amazing years”.

“It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects,” Little Mix wrote in a statement sharing the news last December.

“We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much.

“We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more.”

The group will go on their break after concluding a string of shows this summer.

Jesy Nelson, Little Mix’s original fourth member, departed the band in 2020. She released her debut solo single ‘Boyz’, a duet with Nicki Minaj, in October 2021.
