Seth Rogen smoked a “tonne of weed” before Adele’s ‘One Night Only’ concert

Seth Rogen revealed that he and his wife smoked “a tonne of weed” before Adele’s ‘One Night Only’ concert in Los Angeles last month, before unexpectedly ending up in the front row.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon yesterday (December 1) on ‘The Tonight Show’, the actor said he and his wife Lauren Miller “had no idea” the show was being filmed, and thought it would be “a small Adele concert”.
“We were like, it’s an Adele concert, it’s in the park. We smoked a tonne of weed and were like, we’re just gonna go and enjoy this lovely Adele concert,” he told Fallon.
“We pull up and we see cranes and camera cranes, there’s drones flying around,” Rogen added. “There’s an entire crew there and I’m like, ‘Oh no. We are at the filming of a television special I think.’”
He continued that he thought the pair might be able to “slink into the background,” but found they were actually in the front row.
“We’re as close as you can fathomably be. I sit down and there’s a camera literally pointed at my face,” he said.
Rogen explained that he and Adele do not know each other, adding: “If Adele, you’re watching this, why did you do that?”
The actor also explained the attention that he got from his appearances on the special, which was filmed at the Griffith Observatory and aired on CBS November 14.
“I think it’s the most popular thing I’ve ever been in my entire life. Like, there’s people I know who have not watched my last five movies who have been texting me, being like, ‘You were amazing at that Adele concert. It looked incredible!’”
The ‘Easy on Me’ singer, who recently released her fourth album ‘30’ performed a second special in the UK for ‘An Audience With Adele’ at The London Palladium.
Emma Thompson was among a star-studded crowd, whose wild dancing went viral on Twitter after the episode aired.
Earlier this week, Adele also announced that she will play a Las Vegas residency from January.
The shows will kick off from January 21 and continue every weekend through to April 2022, with fans able to purchase tickets through a pre-sale here from December 7 at 10AM PST.
