The Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk will headline Field Day’s 15th anniversary festival next year.

The annual event at Victoria Park, which champions electronic dance music as part of All Points East, will bring together the two musical pioneers to co-headline the event on August 20, 2022.

Other acts set to perform alongside The Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk include Cici, Daniel Avery, Eliza Rose, Floating Points, HAAi, Tourist and Erol Alkan, with more still to be announced.

Speaking about the line-up, Gareth Cooper, Field Day director said: “Off the back of a successful year last year, we’re delighted Field Day is returning to Victoria Park to celebrate its 15th edition. This year will be our biggest yet and we’re excited to welcome two of the most iconic acts in the history of electronic music to the festival, as well as a selection of the most groundbreaking artists in the industry.”

In the past Field Day has hosted artists across various genres including Aphex Twin, Skepta, Erykah Badu, Patti Smith, Jorja Smith, Bonobo, Loyle Carner, PJ Harvey, Bicep and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

The day festival was based in Victoria Park for 10 years, before moving to Brockwell Park in 2018, and a show at The Drumsheds in 2019,  before returning to Victoria Park in East London for the 2021 return of the festival season following Covid-19.

Last year’s lineup featured Bicep, The Black Madonna, Floating Points, Adelphi Music Factory and more.
