Alex Warren has been announced as the next artist to perform at this month’s BRIT Awards 2026 in Manchester.

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter from California will join stars including Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and Wolf Alice in performing at the awards show, which will be held for the first time this year at the Co-op Live in Manchester.

Warren’s popularity exploded in 2025 after the release of his single Ordinary in February. The song has been streamed over 1.6 billion times on Spotify and spent 13 weeks at number one in the UK, earning it a nomination for International Song of the Year award at the BRITs.

“The UK is where Ordinary first broke and changed my life last year,” Warren said.

“I am so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I can’t wait to bring a big performance to the BRITs’ stage for the very first time,” he added.

Though it’ll be his first BRITs, it won’t be his first performance at a major ceremony. At the Grammy Awards earlier this month, Warren had to battle through a glitch in his in-ear device, which caused him to sing Ordinary half a beat behind before recovering later in the ballad.

At that Grammys ceremony, Warren was nominated for the Best New Artist award, only to be beaten by Olivia Dean who, along with fellow nominee Lola Young, leads the BRITs in nominations with five. Sam Fender follows closely behind with four, while Lily Allen, Dave, Fred again.. and Jim Legxacy are all in the running for three awards.

This year’s ceremony will be held at the Co-op Live in Manchester on February 28. It will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX and will be hosted for the sixth occasion by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall.
