The UK’s biggest songs and albums of 2024 so far have been officially revealed, with Noah Kahan leading the charge on both lists.

As Official Charts reports, the Vermont singer-songwriter’s 2022 hit ‘Stick Season’ scored huge viral success at the end of last year and has earned a staggering 850,000 chart units in 2024 alone.

The track, which spent seven weeks at number one, is also the most-streamed song of the year so far – having racked up 99million plays since the start of 2024. ‘Stick Season’ has also scored an accumulated 1.4million chart units in total.

Kahan also scored a second entry with his Sam Fender duet on ‘Homesick’ landing at Number 24.

There’s similar success for Kahan’s third album Stick Season, which has earned a whopping 123,000 units to become 2024’s top album – beating The Weeknd’s ‘The Highlights’ (Number Two), Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version) and Olivia Rodrigo‘s ‘Guts’ (Number Four).

The top ten album list is rounded off by Ariana Grande‘s ‘Eternal Sunshine’ (Number Nine) and Swift’s ‘Midnights’ (Number 10), alongside greatest hits by ABBA, Elton John and Fleetwood Mac.
